"When I locked eyes with Steve Harvey just for a split second it felt so right - not in a romantic way, of course. It felt like I locked eyes with destiny. It was like a conformation for me that I was at the right place at the right time. It was like I was where I was supposed to be! I may never see this man again in my life, but the impact he made on me at that moment was so extraordinary that can truly say it was life changing!!
When I keep telling you should come to my events I mean that in the most intense way. I or anyone in the room may have the same effect on you. The effect maybe so strong that you will go out into the world right after and know exactly what to do next. This is exactly what happened to me after Steve Harvey! My heart is telling me to tell you again and again that you have what it takes to make it!! You just must find your passion, put yourself in a position to use it over and over and keep staying motivated to pursue your dreams.
Being on Steve Harvey show is going to be my new story. People with their indirect and at times direct words tell me that they are tired of my divorce story. Trust me: me too! However, I do believe that I can help somebody who is going through the same thing. I am going to continue to talk about it when it feels right. For now I have a new story, and I hope you'll like it:)
All I am trying to tell you is keep trying!!! Keep putting yourself in situations that will get you closer and closer to your dream. Maybe not at once - 99.99% of the time it will never happen immediately. But if you work hard enough on your dream they say "the dots" will line up. I truly believe meeting Steve Harvey even for just a split second was a part of many dots that must connect before I make it. And my definition of making will be completely different from yours. Once thing we do have in common is that we just want to be happy with what we are doing and get paid for it:) lol. Get paid is a nuance - doing what you love for a living and help people with it - that's a true blessing.
What's next for me?? What's next for you?? The first step we established already many times here to make sure you know your passion. And then keep putting yourself in situations that will lead you closer to your dream: meet people, learn, travel, sell, give back, intern, volunteer, whatever it takes. Do anything: wash toilets like I did in college, eat on $20 a week to invest in worthwhile trips, sleep less when everybody else is sleeping, etc., etc. Keep making sacrifices till you get there. We have only one life. Fail and get back up. We all do that!! Focus on getting up, not failing!! And see how far you can go from now on! Use your passion, use your gifts to make the world a better place. Why not you??" Marina Amdream.
